YOUNG JEEZY: "THE REAL IS BACK" REVIEW
I could sit here and write a long, drawn-out review about Young Jeezy and his overused "I sold drugs" subject-matter but im NOT. Once again he's delivered yet another great mixtape and still stands atop the list as one of the most consistent rappers ever. He comes in with an intro about a piece of his life in High School and his hunger for the "Good Life". The Mixtape as a whole had bangers such as "Ballin", "Flexin", and one of my personal favorites "Win". His goal isn't to lay out though-provoking lines yet sometimes will catch the "lazy" listeners off guard with witty metaphors. I give this Mixtape an 8/10. It had a consistent flow, over-used yet called for subject matter and bangers to drive the streets crazy in anticipation. Expect Bass-Driven beats on TM103 with clever word-play and a solid theme set to release September 20th.
